Shrieks of laughter can often be heard from behind the doors of my studio.....particularly when client Ann is attending a fitting.......
But seriously,its an important part of my job to get to know clients and to then reflect their personalities in the design of their outfits.
On this occassion, Ann wanted to be pushed (gently!) out of her comfort zone, and requested a gown that was a little more unusual than the styles she had previously worn.
It takes confidence to attend a function wearing a totally unique gown, and to deal with the subsequent attention that such an outfit brings. My task, in order to provide that confidence, is to ensure that a client FEELS as good as she LOOKS.Its a joint effort with clients involved in every decision along the way.
Well Ann, it was a fun journey.....and just look at the results!!!
